P.A.M.E.L.A - sound design
We have to work hard to create atmospheric sound effects for the game P.A.M.E.L.A from Nvyve Studios. Our task was to create sounds for the robots, turrets, interface and weapons. The sounds of the robot were synthesized from scratch and have a semblance of speech of the infamous R2D2. Many sounds were recorded in different variations for greater variety and realism. We cited the example of a small audio scene, in which a robot-observer is flying past us, and another robot-seeker is coming to us and scanning, trying to stall, but the turret activates to the left of us and shoots the poor guy. The speech of the seeker was recorded and processed by Chris O'Neil, the music in the trailer is authored by Jeff Van Dyck.
